Religious Formation Sacramental Preparation

 2009 Calendar

Sacramental preparation for children receiving their First Communion is a partnership with the parish Religious Formation catechists and parents for those participating in all 3 options of Religious Formation.  It begins with formation on the sacrament of Reconciliation at the beginning of the new year on the dates listed below and concludes with the reception of the sacrament of Eucharist at the end of April during the Easter Season.  We ask that at least one parent attend the formation sessions with their child(ren) as indicated where related formation is provided to just the parents to assist them in the preparation of their children for these important sacraments.  An additional cost of $30 is associated with this sacramental preparation to cover the cost of the formation books we use (Harcourt’s “Call to Celebrate” Reconciliation and Eucharist), supplies and the associated retreats before the celebration of each of the sacraments.
