Religious Formation First Communion Sacramental Preparation for 2011

Sacramental preparation for children receiving their First Communion is a partnership with the parish Religious Formation Office and parents for those participating in all 3 options of Religious Formation along with those children in Catholic School. It begins with formation on the sacrament of Reconciliation at the beginning of the new year on the dates listed below and concludes with the reception of the sacrament of Eucharist on the 3rd Sunday of May during the Easter Season for 2011. We ask that at least one parent attend the formation sessions with their children as indicated where related formation is provided to just the parents to assist them in the preparation of their children for these important sacraments. An additional cost of $35 is associated with this sacramental preparation to cover the cost of the two formation books we use (Harcourt’s "Call to Celebrate" Reconciliation and Eucharist), along with supplies and the associated retreats before the celebration of each of the sacraments.
