Dear St Mark Family,

This weekend we  celebrate the 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time and Catechetical Sunday. We will have a blessing at the end of Mass for all our Catechists for adults, youth and children. 

We also have a special Family Mass to celebrate the beginning of the Religious Formation Year for our elementary, middle-school and high school children and teens at 1pm.  There will be a "meet the Catechists" in the Great Hall following this special Mass. Note: Religious Formation registration is now closed.  Religious Formation Sessions begin next Sunday - Sep 25th:  Grades 1 to 5 at 12:30pm.

Grades 6 to 12 will be going the Fall Regional Youth Event at St Nicholas from 6:30 to 8pm, parents and young adults are also invited.

The parish office will be open this Sunday from 9am to 1pm and then Monday through Thursday (9am to 3pm) Now back to normal hours. 

 Daily Masses will be celebrated as always on Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30am, along with 7pm Mass on Wed, with Rosary at 6:30pm.

 We will be conducting a training-formation session for Eucharistic Ministers next Sunday, Sep 25th, at 12pm in the main church.

Remember next Thursday, Sep 22, we have the Knights/Justice and Peace sponsored Blood Drive in the Great Hall from 11am to 5pm.  Sign up in the Great Hall this weekend.

We would like to welcome our new Coordinator of Religious Formation in charge of our Elementary Formation (grades 1 to 5), along with the Children's Liturgy of the Word conducting at both Sunday Masses - 8:30am and 10:30am.  Please welcome Maegan Valmeo!

Announcing a Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser: 

The Knights of Columbus will operate a Pumpkin Patch from 15 thru 31 October to raise funds for their Family Programs supporting charities and ministries like the St. Mark Food Pantry and Holiday Food Baskets, and our Keep Christ in Christmas programs.  The Pumpkin Patch will be open Noon to 8pm - Monday thru Friday, and 9am to 8pm - Saturday & Sunday and includes over 1,400 pumpkins of different varieties.  Come by and pick out those special pumpkins for your home.

The Knights invite parishioners to volunteer at the Pumpkin Patch.  All are welcome to participate!  Teenage volunteers 17 & under must be accompanied by a parent.
