  Saint Mark Parish Updates
Updated  ~ October 23rd, 2020

Dear St Mark Family,

As we close in on the end of this month, we continue to lift up our prayers, by praying the Rosary, for our Blessed Mother's intercession for an end to the pandemic and for the world. As we also seek renewal in for our lives.

This weekend we celebrate the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time, on Saturday, Oct 24th, at 5:30pm, then on Sunday, Oct 25th at 8am and 11am. We continue our Virtual Mass at 10am on Facebook Live and then on our YouTube channel - we now have live music for all Masses. You can download this weekend's music and script. We will have an end of the month October Birthday blessing at all the Masses.

PLEASE sign up for the weekend Mass you plan to attend using one of the links below, or call the parish office to sign up. When you arrive at church please have your mask on (ages 10 and above). You will need to keep the mask on throughout the Mass, from entering the church until exiting. Please be cooperative and follow the direction of the ushers to a social distance seat in the church. We ask for your continued patience - realizing all of this is for the safety of all who come to worship at Mass!

Daily Mass continues this week is Tuesday at 8:30am, Wednesday at 7pm, and Thursday at 8:30am. This might be a good option to transition to coming by to Mass on the weekend!

Next weekend we celebrate All Saints Day! We will have an additional Family Mass that weekend at 1pm and invite children to come to this special Mass dressed as the favorite saint.
On All Souls' Day, Monday, Nov 2nd, we will have Masses at 8:30am & 7pm. There will be tables in the Commons to display framed pictures to honor those dearly departed! Plan to bring those by sometime this coming week or on the weekend. For the Book of Remembrance for this special month, we will have cards to fill out names of loved ones who have passed, that will be transcribed in the Book. The Book will remain on display in the Worship Space by the Baptismal Font, to keep within the guidelines.

Please note the new link regarding the Diocesan Bicentennial Eucharistic Congress the weekend of Nov 6th &7th. This will be a virtual event from Richmond that you need to register. We will also have parallel events at St Mark as well on Nov 7th and then the weekend we will have another special Bicentennial Mass setting for all the Masses.

Our parish office is open this week from 9am to 3pm - Monday to Thursday and on Sunday from 9am to 1pm. The church is open for private prayer and devotion from 11am to 3pm on Monday and 9am to 3pm Tuesday through Thursday. Note - we will have an 'in church rosary' on Wednesday at 6:30pm. We still have a virtual Rosary today by our Youth Group and then a multi-language rosary next Friday, both at 5pm.

For all who visit the parish for prayer or office visit, please ensure you are wearing a mask and can answer no to the health questions (no temperature, no symptoms of COVID and no contact with someone with COVID in the last 2 weeks - thank you!

Please stay connected to the parish through the website, our Facebook, Flocknote text and these emails for news and updates! Remember the bulletin is also on the website or you can pick one up at church.

Stay safe and may you have a most blessed week, Deacon Mike
