Dear St Mark Family,

Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

This weekend we  celebrate the 6th Sunday of Easter! Please welcome back Fr Jim Griffin, as our guest presider this weekend, while Fr Anthony is away. There is no Reconciliation this Saturday at 4pm.

As a reminder - 10:30am will be live-streamed; we  still have seating in the Great Hall for the Masses for those who desire.

Overflow parking is available at Hollomon Brown Kempsville Chapel with entrance to St Mark through the prayer garden and Daily Chapel for weekend Masses!

This weekend we will wrap up the Youth (Y3S) Group sponsored fundraiser for future Youth activities! Please come under the tent as you exit Mass this weekend for the sale of "annual plants", religious themed socks and t-shirts, cards, candy and religious jewelry.  Good gifts for your favorite person.

Spiritual Adoption/ HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Your spiritually adopted baby was born this month! Your prayers saved Their life. Thank you on behalf of all the little babies and their mothers for your loving prayers that helped to bring them to birth “so that they might have life and have it to the full!” Join us after all Masses May 21st/22nd as we celebrate our baby’s “Birth Day

Listen to our Men's Retreat Coordinator, at all the Masses this weekend as he Calls on the Men of the Parish to a 1 day Men's Retreat on Saturday, June 4th! Please check out the sign up in the Commons after Mass and the link on the parish website.

We continue to keep the people of Ukraine in our prayers, along with prayers for peace. Also, the other war torn and often forgotten areas of the world, like Syria, Yemen, Ethiopia, Sudan, Congo and El Salvador - especially on this day which is the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima.

The parish office will be open this Sunday from 9am to 1pm and then Monday through Thursday (9am to 3pm). 

PLEASE NOTE: Daily Mass will ONLY be celebrated this week on Wednesday night at 7pm, with Rosary at 6:30pm.  We will have a Communion Service with Liturgy of the Word on Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30am.

Sign-up still available on the website for this summer's Vacation Bible School - July 18 to July 22, from 9am to 12:30pm.  This is for children ages 3.5 years to 10 years old.
